Colorado
Fall Colors

I love traveling during the fall months, energized by the crisp autumn air and the bright colors of the changing season.  Taken with a vintage Hasselblad film camera, these are images taken in the small mountain village of Lake City, Colorado as well as nearby Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in 2014. It was September and the foliage of the aspen and cottonwood trees had changed from green to vibrant shades of yellow and orange. I was curious to discover how the trees would show up differently if photographed in black-and-white rather than in color. Silver gelatin prints are available for purchase (See contact page).
